WTF chiefing?

How come when I chiefed a village, everything went down 1 level, and the academy and barracks seem to have gone down even more. (though I dont know the level it was before)

Like all the resource fields went down to level 9 and all the buildings went down at least 1 level or more.

maybe he was using his main bldg to demolish buildings as u were chiefing. I have done this before.

I seriously doubt it. It dropped from 689 to 599 as soon as I took it.

Every field is level 9, and the sawmill, brickwords, foundry, were level 4 and everything was pretty much 1 level behind.

It happened to another village I chiefed as well. Though I didn't really notice it much.

I had the same thing happen last round. I looked all through help.travian.us and didn't find anything about it.

I think each building has a certain chance to decrease by 1 level when you chief a village. I heard about it somewhere before.

I am not sure but I think it depend of the nation of the village you are chiefing, i.e. if you are a roman and conquered a roman village, no penalty.

When you chief a village, all buildings and resource fields drop by one level.

Yup. Chiefing a village = all buildings/fields drop one level. Makes you wonder WTF some people were thinking with their buildings when you chief a village and see lvl 19 siege workshop, and then a lvl 2 barracks.

when you chief a village it goes exactly 10% down, if someone rechief it than its another 10% after the first one.

Every village I chiefed lost 1 lvl on everything. Its normal. Part of the reason to go after 600 pop villas

Dang! Does not make that 1000 pop village as appetizing as it was before.

It depends on the total population of the attacker and defender.
If the attacker is smaller than the defender, the level of the
buildings do not go down. Also if you chief your own village, the
level of the buildings don't go down.

Actually if you chief a village by sending 6 senator if the loyalty is at 0 with the 5 ,the sixth will also die and make the city lose it's 10% another time.

I've heard the city loses 10% of its building/levels. I have no idea how this works.....
