DVD burning question

I downloaded a DVD for the baby, and it un-rars into a .img file. Well, I went to Nero, clicked "Burn image" selected the .img, burned it, and the disc works... but only on my computer. Won't play on the PS2, the XBOX, or the normal DVD player, and I want it to play on everything, not just my computer.... any ideas?

It could be the media you're using. I rarely have any luck playing burned DVDs on xbox or ps2, but as far as your DVD player not reading it, you may need to buy different media for it to work. Go to http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers and put in your DVD player model, it should return a list of user-tested media that works with your player. It's still sort of hit and miss, but its a decent start. Good luck!
