So Insolent shows me this video, 'cause he thought it was just a bizarre Japanese video that made him giggle. Me? I understand a little bit of Japanese, enough to think to myself "Is this commercial REALLY advertising super cute razor blades to cut yourself with???"

I went to my friend who graduated from college with a BA in Japanese. I said "Please tell me they aren't advertising cute razor blades..." Her response?

"Wow WTF..."
"That's not good... what do they say?"
"they're hard to understand but one of the text things on screen says "blood becomes delicious". and the product screen at the end says "wrist cutter"."


What the hell??? Being emo and cutting yourself has become a TREND in Japan??? And for goodness sake, it's a HAPPY trend???
